1% February and 99% March

Well, it's going to be the end of March. So many things to do, so little time. Now that I reflect back on the past 2 months, a lot have happen and half of the time I didn't realize that time really fly by so fast.

I forgot to mention this in my last post that my sisters and I celebrated mum's birthday!!! Both Emily and me (mostly me) made cheese cake for mum as a gift but mum had sore throat so I ate most of the cake instead. hahaha. In my family, eating two whole cheese cake for a meal or in a day is like no problem at all =P HAPPY BIRTHDAY MUM!!! Thanks for raising a troublesome son like me :')

Well, in February everything was just exciting, fun and peaceful but March is fast like a running steam train with the added buildup of stress due to college life!!! The heat, haze and water rationing just make everything worse. It came to the point I had to take a morning bath in college because I was already running late for class!!! Assignments is just another killer. With the added pressure of assignments pilling up which is due in a 5 days, I'm surprise I can still be calm.

For March, my time was mostly focused with the church activities. For us the youth, we had a combine worship and games with the Sunday School children :) Yee Ling as trying to get everyone especially the kids to do some action songs but sadly, they are just too shy.

Wei Ling on the other hand did games where we are instructed to cross an imaginary river using limited paper rocks.

Well, next was RBS 2014 graduation night and it was my first time driving to PJGH!!! Got both Reuben and Yee Ling to accompany me there. RBS graduation night really reminded me about my time. It was just so nostalgic. It felt like I was back in 2010. Time really flies and so many things have happen since I graduated.

My usual paranomic view of PJGH :P

This year, we have Colin Kirton as the Principal

RBS 2014. This year from MGC we have Esther and Charmaine

Later we had Joanne join us later

Well, it was really a great night to be able to attend the graduation night. I get to hear the testimonies and experience that the students obtain from their time in RBS. It really reminded me of the promise I made in my RBS year. To become a better person, to continue to serve God, to be salt and light to the world, and to help to grow the church in any way possible be it through the Youth, the congregation or Sunday School .

At the end of the graduation night, I manage to meet a few old friend and to be able to talk to Uncle Dexter, Colin, Rudi and Uncle Ritchie. Now I'm looking forward to the next batch. RBS 2015!!! :) When it was time to go back, Reuben went home with his family and I send Yee Ling went back to her hostel which was just 5- 10 minute away from PJGH. So meaning, I had to travel all the way home. ALONE!!! T.T Luckily I din't fell asleep.

For the first time in my life, I got to visit an orphanage, with the youth!!! The kids there are really open and super duper friendly. The first thing they did when they meet us was not ignoring us and sitting down quietly but they came to us and greeted us with happily with big smiles on their faces. We started off with worship and the kids was just so happy and sang with us (more like sang for us) even though we only brought a tambourine. They sang and did all the actions for the songs. Even for the banana dance!!!

Visiting the orphanage was really an interesting new experience. For our first time, I will say we did alright. A few was nervous, there was panic, some was anxious, others was excited and me on the other hand was just relax. Haha. I'm glad to see that everyone slowly got to open up to each other and some of us was just so happy playing with them.

Well, it was really an interesting month for March and I can't wait for the trip to the Orang Asli which is in 4 days!!! The exam to end and for my semester break to start!!! :)
